Chapter Involvement

The Great Lakes Chapter is an organization of people supporting people. The Chapter serves it's membership through interaction on a personal and national level regarding issues ranging from air service to environmental concerns. Our success relies on the active involvement of our membership. Members are encouraged to participate in Chapter activities and partake in the Chapter’s leadership through participation on the executive Committee.

The members comprising the executive Committee are chosen by a caucus of members present from each state/province at the annual meeting of the Chapter. The selection by each state/province is ratified by the membership. Each member so elected serves a two (2) year term or until a successor is elected and qualified. Should any state/province not be represented at the annual meeting to select a member of the Executive Committee, the President appoints a representative from that state/province subject to ratification by the Executive Committee.
